Before you order
Buying bedding without touching it first
Piece count is not size
This is the one that catches people. A three-piece set is one quilt or duvet cover, one flat sheet and one pillowcase. A four-piece adds a second pillowcase. A six-piece has four. Two sets can both say "queen" and contain different things, so read the option, not just the size.
Measure the bed, not the mattress label
Mattress depths vary far more than widths do. A fitted sheet or a protector that fits a 20 cm mattress will fight a 35 cm pillowtop. Every size on this site gives the centimetres.
Satin is a weave and silk is a fibre
A fabric sold as satin can contain no silk at all. Both are on this site and each product page says which it is: the silk range is mulberry silk, and the satin range is a satin weave in polyester that glides in a similar way for a good deal less.
Thread count stops mattering quite early
Above about 500 the number is mostly marketing. What the fabric is made of, and how it is finished, decides how it feels after ten washes. The specification on each page says both.
Children's bedding gets washed twice as often
Which is why the children's range is a cotton and polyester blend rather than pure cotton: it comes out of the machine without needing an iron, and the print is fade resistant.
What to buy first
If you are replacing one thing, replace the quilt cover: it is the piece you see and the piece you touch. If you are protecting a new mattress, buy the protector before anything else goes on it.

What is the difference between a set's size and its piece count?
Size is how big it is, piece count is how many items are in the box. A queen four-piece and a queen six-piece are different products at different prices.
Which products come in more than one size?
Twelve of the twenty-three. The rest are one configuration at one price, which is most of the children's range.
What does delivery cost?

Can I buy a single pillowcase?
Yes. Both the silk and the satin cases are sold one at a time rather than in pairs.
Do you sell cot or single bedding for children?
The children's range is single size, sold as one configuration each.
What is the difference between the underlay and the protector?
An underlay adds softness on top of the mattress. A protector keeps liquid out of it. Plenty of beds have both.
Are the silk products real silk?
The mulberry silk range is. The satin range is a polyester satin weave, and each product page says which it is rather than leaving you to guess from the price.
